Suit from Frank + Oak | Loafers from Suit Supply | Theory Tie from GILT | MIsmo briefcase from TRES Bien
A stylish yet comfortable summer requires cotton suits. However, the price of a modern-fitted cotton suit can leave you sweating out the summer months in wool. Don't sweat it! Cotton suits are no longer the extravagant expense they once were. I picked this one up from Frank and Oak for a little over $200. Normally I'd have to pay big bucks at Theory to get this fit, but Frank and Oak is inexpensive and runs sales virtually back to back all year. They sell the pants and jackets as separates, each called the Becket. The Bernard (bottom, right) is at a similar price point in linen. I always wear either a 32 or 34 waist, and 38 or 40 jacket, depending on the brand. In this brand, the suit fits in 32 waist and 38 jacket. Bottom, left is a theory cotton suit in grey that I had purchased at much higher price point of around $500.
